ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil allies long-lasting development of the steel with social responsibility of the Company. The three pillars that support the health and well being proposal to all ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil’s partners are as follows:


• the well being of all the people involved with the Company’s activities is pursued as an endurance and success factors in the development of the Company;
• people’s well being requires an effective prevention as regards health and industrial risks in a world that maintains constant risk awareness;
• the well being of the whole requires organizational and material designs and controls that allow for prevention or limitation of the consequences of the accidents or incidents.


In order to achieve the goals, ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil proposes the following:


• identify, evaluate, eliminate or minimize industrial risks and risks to health;
• grant all employees and service renderers the right to demand the compliance with health procedures; provide the managers means to create a working environment that allows for everybody to exercise this right;
• act on the behavioral aspects and develop personal commitment of all people involved to respect health-related standards and regulations, and each employee has the basic responsibility to take care of his/her health;
• provide training to improve knowledge;
• create partnership with customers as regards toxicology and ecotoxicology;
• assure that all internal and external communications are made on a transparent basis and respecting freedom of speech;
• be a model as regards compliance with legal obligations and regulations.
