ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil adopts a salary policy that stays in line with the main companies in the market and pays one of the best salaries in the region, in addition to recognize both individual and collective performance of the employees.

In average, in the sum total of all payments made by the Company, ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil annually pays to each employee 19.9 salaries. In those payments the following are included: monthly salary, PME (Team Performance Goals), PLR (Profit and Result Sharing), meals, snacks, day nursery, health care, social security, life insurance, additional payment upon return from vacation, 13th salary (‘Christmas bonus’), among others.


REMUNERATION

ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil develops the performance management process entailed to variable remuneration, considering the results achieved by the fulfillment of individual and team goals. The Team Performance Goals (PME) is a variable remuneration program developed in the Company for the technical and operational level employees. This program was implemented in 1998 and is connected to performance improvement of the areas with goals defined by the teams themselves and directly negotiated with the Company’s management and superintendence.

Profit and Result Sharing (PLR) is another way of employee recognition and remuneration. Since 2003, with the Company’s recovery and good net profit achievements, it has been possible to start the PLR negotiation process.

Individual Salary Raise is also a way of recognizing the performance and professional engagement to day-to-day work. With the policy of individual salary raise, ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil has already granted raise to 65% of the manning chart with vertical or horizontal promotions in the last three years.

The promotion of professional status change shows not only the Company’s internal mobility but also the recognition of a distinguished individual performance and the acquisition of new practical skills.
