ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil's silicon steel: total efficiency in power generation and in savings.
Since 1957, ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil has been producing steels for electric purposes in Brazil and is the sole producer in Latin America of oriented-grain (OG) and non-oriented-grain (NOG) silicon steels.
The silicon content in its chemical composition and the severe process control in all production phases assure optimum magnetic properties – being capable of assuring higher efficiency of the electric equipment and energy saving.
The GO silicon steel has optimized magnetic properties in its rolling direction, whereas GNO presents good property in any direction considered.
