ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil produces medium-, high-carbon and alloyed steel in the form of hot-rolled coil (‘as rolled’), and widths ranging between 980 mm and 1,450 mm and thickness between 2.00 mm to 12.70 mm.
In order to comply with more strict specifications, the company has been developing the ACE steel grades, which are grades with tighter chemical composition or different from the ones established by national standards (ABNT/NBR) or international standards (ASTM, DIN, SAE, etc.). These grades have special characteristics and were developed to comply with more specific requirements from certain customers or with the market in general. They are mainly intended to be used in farming machines and tools, re-rolling, cutlery, cold work tools and automobile sector.
