A PRESENCE THAT INTEGRATES
Environmental responsibility is one ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil's business foundation pillars.
Therefore, through ArcelorMittal Acesita Foundation, the company has been developing a wide program of environmental protection and education intended for Timóteo's and Vale do Aço's community.
The activities are developed at Oikós - a forest reserve maintained by ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil, located in Timóteo's urban perimeter, with 989 hectares of forest, next to the largest area of Atlantic forest of the State, the Rio Doce State Park.
This reserve was created in June 1993 and also houses the Environmental Education Center, which assists different group profiles with pro-active political-pedagogic projects that intend to teach and encourage a citizen-oriented attitude, also sustainable and integrated to the environment.
