One of the objectives of ArcelorMittal Acesita Foundation is to help Timóteo and Vale do Aço region grow in a sustainable manner. I order to do this, the Foundation runs a Stainless Steel Institute in the city, an advanced training center for stainless steel technicians, which also encourages entrepreneurship and the only one in Brazil with such characteristics.
The Stainless Steel Institute is a technical institution founded by ArcelorMittal Acesita Foundation in partnership with Timóteo Retired Persons Foundation to promote the economy of Timóteo through the creation of stainless steel transformation companies.
The main focus of the institute is the formation of entrepreneurs as well as the qualification of manpower to assist the demands of the new companies; the dissemination of new technologies in working with stainless steel by means of technical advisory and consultancy, complying with requests from all over the Country via Internet and telephone.
