The objective of ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil is not just to produce the best steel, in perfect quality conditions and cost. The proposal is also to be as close as possible to the customers, to assist them with agility and to offer state-of-the-art services.
Through ArcelorMittal Serviços Inox Brasil - integral subsidiary of ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil - the steel industry performs all kinds of service required by the market: cut-to-length and slitting of sheets, several finishes, transformation and distribution.
In addition to a direct interface with the customers,ArcelorMittal Serviços Inox Brasil allows a significant reduction in the delivery periods. The consumers have the assurance of obtaining the products faster and that all technical specifications requested have been strictly complied with.
ArcelorMittal Serviços Inox Brasil coordinates the activities developed by the companies Amorim Comercial, Cetubos, Inox Tubos and ArcelorMittal Campinas. The latter, whose activities started in June 2006, is located in the epicenter of the country's consumption of metallurgical products. The unit of Campinas assists the market of capital goods, automobile and white line, among other sectors.
With service capacity of 40 thousand tons/year in stainless steel, the unit of Campinas is also ready to work with flat silicon and carbon products. The company is located approximately on a radius of 150 km from their main customers, making available important logistics facilities.
ArcelorMittal Campinas has a built area of approximately 12 thousand square meters and with 140 employees, and it was created thanks to the acquisition of Cosinox assets, a traditional service center that is operating in this sector for since 1984.
A Amorim Comercial was the first service center of ArcelorMittal Inox Brasil. Founded in 1959, in the city of Santos (SP), Amorim occupies today facilities of 11 thousand square meters in Ipiranga, São Paulo. Considered the largest service center and distributor of flat stainless steels of South America, the company also trades tubes and bars.
The efficiency in spot delivery or in programmed delivery is one of the main expertise of Amorim. In the case of programmed delivery, the company fully adjusts itself to the stages of the consumer's project, accomplishing the transport of the product in consonance with the course of the activities. To guarantee the quality of the distribution, Amorim has its own fleet of trucks.
ArcelorMittal Timóteo, founded in 1998, is located inside Acesita's facilities, in Timóteo (MG). The company fabricates seam-welded stainless steel tubes. With a strip processing capacity of approximately 16 thousand tons/year, Cetubos supplies products mainly to the domestic and foreign automobile markets, a sector that absorbs about 80% of this company's production.
Assisting practically all market sectors Inox Tubos is structured to assist the customers' varied demands, terms of dimensions, norms and specifications of the austenitic stainless steel tubes with welded seam. The tube welding processes - TIG welding and Plasma - afford properties to the areas welded that are equivalent to the one of the metal base.
With facilities located in Ribeirão Pires, São Paulo, Inox Tubos has a transformation capacity of approximately 18 thousand tons/year of stainless steel.
