Sustainable development: several ways of working.
Due to the extension of the original definition, the concept can be applied to different segments of the society: the first, second and third sectors.
Sustainable development presupposes interdisciplinary approach, since its evolution leads us to work with three major themes: environmental, social and economical aspects. The synergy among those aspects pervades the application of the concept wherever necessary, both on governmental as well as civil society or corporate levels.
The concept can be applied to several ways:
• philanthropy;
• support to project execution and implementation;
• deep studies about certain problems, survey on potential solutions and support to execution;
• education and community development, by actions with longer term results, however building self-confidence, creating jobs and income to all.
